Co-founder Manjunatha MK and his partners are veteran engineering professionals with over 25 years of work experience in various spheres.
They aim to use their vast experience to create an organisation that can become a player in the field of electronic security systems and facility management solutions. This Bangalore based startup has started gaining traction with MNCs, reaching out to them for their services and is building a reputation that does justice to their individual careers.
In conversation with GlobalLinker (GL), Manjunatha MK (MMK) shares the journey of the firm charting a way forward.
GL: Tell us about your business.
MMK: Vaamika Tech Solutions is a multi-disciplined organisation started by highly experienced engineering professionals who have served in the public sector & worked for large MNCs for more than 25 years. The company is a relatively young company but we are slowly making a mark in the industry.
We provide two main services. The first is electronic security systems, for example, CCTV, access control systems, fire alarm systems & PA systems for plants & buildings. We also provide comprehensive facility management solutions for plants & buildings. We also perform operations and maintenance of these products as required.
GL: What are the challenges you have faced in establishing your business?
MMK: We just started out recently. The main challenge is to create confidence with customers to give us orders. There are a lot of players in the market and it is not easy to convey the quality in product and delivery that we possess to our potential customers. It is a challenge to differentiate ourselves in the competitive marketplace. The second challenge is the creation of resources in time to meet the customer’s requirements. But now we are gaining traction with some large orders.
GL: What is the USP of your business?
MMK: The main USP of our business is quality, transparency & trust. We have started receiving orders from MNC companies & others.
GL: What role do you feel GlobalLinker plays in connecting and assisting SMEs?

GL: What is your big business dream?
MMK: Our big business dream is to become a successful company and provide quality & cost effective services to customers. We hope for exponential increase in revenue, year on year.
GL: What is your message to aspiring entrepreneurs?
MMK: My message to aspiring entrepreneurs is that hard work plays an important role in getting a good result and patience is an essential ingredient for success.
